We are seeking a person who would like to join our team and take charge of our essential financial and human resources functions. As Financial Administrator, you would assist the Executive Team in development of the Annual Budget, maintain the financial accounts of the agency with the aid of the financial department staff, and provide basic human resource functions including the management of the employee benefits program.

The person in this position would insure that the agency is audit ready at all times, supervise assistant staff members in the financial department, prepare and present reports to the Board of Directors and the Executive Team, maintain an awareness of the potential funding sources for the agency and the service centers, provide administrative support for fund development, including grants, and oversee the collection, analysis and reporting of all financial information.

The essential skills that we are looking for include the ability to commit and align to the agencys underlying assumptions and governing ideas, knowledge of nonprofit financial management and accounting, supervision and management competencies, inductive and deductive thinking skills, knowledge and experience with Quickbooks, Excel, and related computer software, and knowledge and competency in accounting theory and practice.

The salary range is 35,000 to 40,000, with an excellent benefit package of sick and vacation days, medical, dental, life, and disability insurance, and a 403(b) retirement plan. Working hours are flexible, with the normal week being Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
